LCT Week 1 Intro Coaching Foundations
Overview
In the beginning… we focus on creating a solid foundation for coaching. We review the components of Coaching vs. Therapy, Counseling, and Mentoring. The student will also learn the essence of coaching within its various frameworks and why we coach in the first place!
These coaching foundations will be the starting point of subsequent coaching education within this course. We also tie into this framework the spiritual basis for coaching.

Assignment
Conduct a small research study on coaching as a career.
Begin to collect a listing of sites and sources whereby to conduct follow-up research.
Answer these questions:
How might I be able to utilize my credential as a Certified Christian Coach? What is the income potential of a coach (in general)? What are various methods for earning income as a coach? Of the various methods, which 3 will I prioritize?
