In this course module, participants will explore various coaching methodologies such as GROW, CLEAR, and OSKAR to enhance their coaching skills. In this module, we will explore popular coaching methodologies.

Coaching is a crucial aspect of personal and professional development, and there are various methodologies that can be utilized to enhance coaching practices. Some of the popular coaching methodologies include GROW (Goal, Reality, Options, Will), CLEAR (Contracting, Listening, Exploring, Action, Review), and OSKAR (Outcome, Scaling, Know-how, Affirm and Action, Review).

To improve coaching skills, you will need a methodology that works for you. Repeatedly. By practicing coaching using several coaching methodologies, you can gain a better understanding of their strengths and weaknesses in each approach.

After practicing with using these methods, it is beneficial to report on one of the methodologies within a peer team to receive feedback and insights from others. By comparing and contrasting the methods and highlighting which works best for you at this juncture, you can tailor your coaching approach to suit their style and the needs of their clients.

Peer teams are essential for providing constructive feedback and support along your coaching journey, so by discussing your experiences and receiving feedback from peers on your coaching methods, you can gain invaluable insights and get better. Don’t aim to be perfect. Aim to be comfortable and competent!
